Abstract

This article presents the Progressive Adaptive Plan (PAP), a structured and flexible approach to project management. The PAP allows projects to be planned and executed adaptively, taking into account the changes and learnings acquired throughout the process. The PAP is composed of well-defined stages, such as needs and objectives identification, adaptive planning, execution and monitoring, and evaluation and adaptation. Each stage has its own activities and artifacts, aiming to ensure incremental value delivery, alignment with organizational goals, and project effectiveness. Throughout the article, correlations between the PAP and PMBOK concepts are explored, demonstrating how the adaptive approach can integrate with traditional project management methodologies. The application of the PAP in project management can bring significant benefits, such as increased flexibility, adaptability to changes, resource optimization, and continuous learning. The approach allows projects to be adjusted according to the demands and needs identified throughout the process, ensuring better alignment with project objectives. The Progressive Adaptive Plan (PAP) represents an innovative and effective approach to project management. Its flexibility and adaptability enable project teams to respond to changes, maximizing results and achieving greater success in project delivery. The PAP paves the way for more agile and efficient project management, aligned with the needs and demands of the current business environment.
